Rejoice! For I have found not only employment, but also the long absent power cord for my most excellent and missed scanner. New sketches are forthcoming.
On another note, finished fan art will be posted on Deviant Art.
On yet another note, I have a pretty ring.
And one more note of a more tragic nature: I am missing my tablet pen for my backup tablet and the entire tablet package, minus the packaging, of my main tablet. As such, I have missed, and will continue to do so, several very important deadlines to conventions that I wished to send art to. You can no doubt tell that I am up to my old tricks and am desirous to share the ink and paper love. And, well, create some colored ink and paper love.
Oh, and on a SUPER DUPER EXTRA NOTE, my cherripop e-mail address is not working right now. Mail Exchange services will also be started soon. You can use lokineko.cherripop @ gmail.com for now.

For those interested parties, I will be teaching at the North Branch of the St. Pete Library on July 15. Two sessions are scheduled—the first at 10 AM for the under twelve crowd and the second at 2 PM for the teenager crowd. I will be giving basic classes on manga style drawing.

Okay. Graduation, moving, new job, new car, parents moving, three months of sick, two surgeries in two months, one lovely cruise, and unpacking... I think I've had a very busy year. And I still can't find the power cord for my scanner. On the up-side, I think I'm not sick anymore.

Well, so much for the server move and real backend last year. So, for those who'd like to know why there has been nothing happening, I shall now recount the joys and sorrows of the past six monthes. (Speaking of sorrows, it's very difficult to type with an injured pinky.)
- Building a house
- Graduation
- Prepping to build a house
- Getting ready to move
- Did I mention, buying a house?
So, yes, there are my pathetic excuses. You may all point and laugh. On the upside, I have lots of new sketches (few of which are of any recognizable anime characters). On the downside, I don't really have an opportunity to actually scan them, since we are theoretically closing this Friday, so will be moving and prepping to move shortly. However, considering the way the sketches are not organized, I should be able to upload the few sketches that I have scanned as soon as I'm done cleaning them up.
As a consequence of moving during the time I would usually be prepping for MetroCon (and indeed, during the time when MetroCon is happening), I doubt I will be attending MetroCon in any official aspect. I might still attend, and I might cosplay as Unagi from Popotan.

Well, here's being lazy...
But, anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I actually do have
a bit of NEW STUFF to share with
people. I think that the next con to buy this stuff at will
probably be MegaCon, though I certainly haven't started the
2005 con season planning. I'm definitely sending back to
AnimeUSA.
And, I'm switching servers soon, so there may be some unexpected downtime. Don't worry. I haven't been scared away by the teeming fans yet *cough, cough*, though a few at the last con I attended really... well. So, anyway. Expect downtime within the next month, but the site will come back.

Well, hello people. I am, obviously back in Florida. Nothing much happening save sending off stuff to random places in the U.S. (haven't moved on to the U.S. and Canada yet) to hopefully sell--Oni-con and Anime USA.
Guess that's it. I have about five new pieces to scan for all you happy people, so I'll work on that (along with half-a-dozen other things, not including paying stuff.)
Ah, yes. Return to Manzanar as an audio book will be coming out soon. You should buy it and listen to my *wonderful* voice. ^__^ I don't get any royalties out of it, but you should still support the company who produces it, called SonicBooks. And if you're a minority writer, I'd suggest checking it out if you want to be published in some form or another.

So, well then. Hello, Hurricane Frances. My flight to Dallas has been slightly effected by the hurricane and the loads of people evacuating. So, I may not getting on to Anime Fest. Or, if I do, I won't be there for most of Friday. Jolly, right?
Well. Definitely going to Anime Fest. I'll be displaying four new pieces in the art show, and I'll be selling a "Descent to Molest" piece. And, I'll actually be in the Bizarre Bazaar during regular Con hours. (Heaven knows how I'll do that, since I've only even done conventions at four hours a piece without getting severe headaches, heat exhaustion and the like.) I might skip out Sunday, so you should visit Friday or Saturday.
I'll have some mugs and ONE mouse pad. I'm thinking of raffling the mouse pad 'cause it's adorable! (Kyon! I'm sorry I made fun of you... not.) Kyon fans should come by to look at the mouse pad.
I'll be cosplaying Unagi-tan, so, if you're a PoPoTan fan, you should visit my booth. I don't know when I'll cosplay, but I'll cosplay.

Well, I'll be going to Anime Fest in Sept, so if anyone's going, I'll have some stuff up in the Art show and I'll be in the Bizarre Bazaar probably Friday-Sunday.
We're hoping to have some real products besides prints to go to this Con. Hopefully some mugs and T-shirts.
Ya know, next time I decide to do a Con season, I think I'll decide on it the year prior.
I'm working on the backend for this, so updates will be easier. Who knows when I'll get it done, since I don't really do the "code" thing (my Intro. to Programming Prof. beat that out of me), but when I do, it'll be easier to update. I'll still put new scans up and the like until then, but expect some new orgainzation.
Person at AFO who wanted a Spike sketch--I have it done. If ya want me to send it to you or something, send me an e-mail. lokineko@cherripop.org
Goodness, I'm verbose today.

Well, I think I'm going to Anime Festival Orlando. They're having problems with the hotel and don't have the information up for the Artists' Alley yet. I'm not sure if they have an art show as well, but if they do, I'll try to enter it.
Does it bother anyone else that some conventions use "Artist's Alley" instead of "Artists' Alley"? I mean, it's not just one artist in the alley, you know. Ah, well. There's your one point grammar lesson for the day. If it's plural and uses an "s" to indicate it, when you make it possessive you use an apostrophe after the "s".
I won't comment on the un-grammatical-ness of my quotes because that's not as fun. (And really, it depends on the style you use.)

Oh, lookie! A website. How rare. Do you know why it's rare? Because it's mine! All mine! Buwahahahahaahahahaha!
Ahem. Well, welcome to my little corner of the web. After about four years of talk and working on other people's websites, I know have one of my own, designed for my own aesthetics... Mostly.
